11.0   Manage Trial Templates

Only admin users can manage trial templates: Organization Admins can only manage trial templates in their organization(s) whereas Global Admins can manage trial templates in any organization.

The following rules apply to trial templates:

·      A trial template cannot be opened in TrialMaster.

·      A trial template will not be counted against how many trials a client can run.

·      Any trial can be saved as a trial template.

·      When creating a new trial, any trial template can be selected as the foundation.

·      A trial template is upgraded like a normal trial database when software updates are deployed.

·      The default template can be used by any organization, and can never be deleted.

·      Templates other than the default template are specific to an organization.

You can manage trial templates in the following ways:

·      View trial templates

·      Add a trial template

·      Edit a trial template

·      Perform bulk operations (to delete/undelete one or more trial templates)

 

Notes:

 

·      You cannot delete existing templates which have associated trials.

·      If you delete a trial, but keep its trial databases, the database will only be soft deleted: The user cannot log in to the trial, but the trial can later be undeleted, and it will still count toward the maximum number of allowed trials for the organization.
